Flash floods cause havoc in Sandakan – Heavy rains since Thursday morning caused flash floods across Sandakan, submerging roads and trapping vehicles. Firemen rescued a woman and her children in Batu 12 Jalan Labuk and assisted students trapped in a flooded school minibus. Fallen trees and mudslides were also reported. Floodwaters receded later in the evening.
