Sabah deports 132 Filipinos, including children -Sabah Immigration authorities deported 132 Filipinos on Tuesday from Sandakan to Lahad Datu before their return to the Philippines. Meanwhile, seven Pakistanis and one Indian were deported via air after completing jail terms for immigration offences. All deportees covered their own travel costs.
Malaysia blocks 3,682 piracy websites -The Domestic Trade Ministry has blocked nearly 3,700 piracy websites since 2021 in collaboration with MCMC and internet service providers. Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the Cyber Copyright Enforcement Programme (CyCORE) is strengthening efforts to curb digital piracy, protecting local creative works from illegal exploitation.
Teen electrocuted while installing telecom line in Sabah -A 19-year-old man died after being electrocuted while installing a telecommunication line near an electricity pole in Kampung Sinoko, Membakut, on Tuesday. The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department confirmed he was pronounced dead at the hospital after being taken there by a colleague.

Trawler seized in Kunak for repeated fishing violation – A trawler and its four crew members were detained near Pulau Maganting, Kunak, for breaching fishing distance regulations. The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said the vessel, previously fined for a similar offence, was found operating less than 1.5 nautical miles from land. The catch, valued at RM90,000, was seized.
