Sabah announces RM1,000 special aid for civil servants ahead of Hari Raya

The financial assistance, split between Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Kaamatan, aims to recognise the contributions of state civil servants

The Sabah government has approved a RM1,000 special financial aid for all state civil servants in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan celebrations.

The aid will be distributed in two phases, with RM500 disbursed ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and another RM500 before the Kaamatan festival.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun said the decision was made during the Sabah State Cabinet meeting today as a gesture of appreciation for the contributions of civil servants and to enhance their wellbeing.

“The State Government also records its appreciation to all civil servants and hopes that this special assistance will serve as a boost of motivation to continue working harder and improving the quality of service to the people with greater excellence.”
